Can I use SlideShow for Virtual Events?
We believe a fundamental part of our app is to go out and explore the world. For this reason, events on SlideShow are encouraged to be in-person events that our users can experience firsthand. However, we are currently in the development of features in consideration of virtual event awareness.
Will events you make be available for everyone to see?
SlideShow has filters installed so that you can control who you want your event to be seen by. If you wish to promote your event, you may use the public filter so that all of our users in nearby areas can see it. However, privacy filters allow users to control their event availability to be seen only by those who are invited.
How do you find events on SlideShow?
SlideShow has a vast variety of events and finding one for you may seem overwhelming. However, there are many filters and tools in place for you to narrow your search. SlideShow first shows events based on your geolocation so that you know exactly what is happening around you. We also offer filters for specific vibes as well as a search bar.

SlideShow can be a great tool to organize and throw events of any scale! Through the app features, users have an efficient way to sign guests in, promote through our public server, and receive in-depth post-event analysis.
